This past Friday, many cities in the Province of Quebec had to deal with Debbie storm. We received 115 ml of rain in less than a day in Ile-Perrot.

We are currently making sure the diamonds will be top notch but the Community Center “did not survive” ! You can see below a picture where the coaches meeting and the banquet were supposed to be held.

We worked with the city to find solutions. On the same site, there is a library and this is where the coaches meeting will be held, same time (4:30 pm). See map below.

For the banquet, Mother Nature is with us for Tuesday so this is what we’ll do :

• We will switch the Opening Ceremony on Diamond #2 – the Teams will line up on Diamond #4 until they are announced on Diamond #2 – same time : 5:30 pm so the Ceremony can start at 6:00 pm
• Right after the Opening Ceremony, we will have an outdoor Banquet on Diamond #1. We will set up the tables and chair, we are working to adapt the animation accordingly.

We have that reputation in Montreal that we host the best banquets ! It’s not a “little” rain that will stop us.
