Born and raised in Victoria, B.C., Emma Entzminger is in her sixth year as a member of the national team program and her third as a member of the senior team. She competed as part of the Junior Women’s Team at the 2013 Junior Women’s Softball World Championship in Brampton, and at the same event in 2015 in Oklahoma City. In 2016 she made the jump to the senior team, was the youngest member of the squad that took home bronze at the World Championships in Surrey and helped Canada to another bronze medal finish at the 2018 World Championships in Chiba, Japan. She was named to the roster for the 2019 Pan Am Games in Lima, Peru where she will help Canada to defend its gold medal from 2015.

Entzminger graduated from San Jose State University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. She played four seasons with the Spartans while studying at SJSU, starting in 191 of her 207 games played over that span. Over her career with the Spartans she had a .287 batting average, .434 OBP, 17 doubles, three triples, four home runs and 70 RBIs. She finished at SJSU ranked third all-time in runs scored (142), fourth in walks (85) and OBP (.434).
