Softball Canada is saddened to learn of the passing of Bette Kalailieff on November 6, 2019.
In addition to founding the Port Colborne Comettes and Port Colborne Minor Girls Softball in her own community, Kalailieff was a Softball Canada Commissioner from 1977 to 1985 and was elected to the Board of Directors from 1986 until 1996. She was inducted to the Softball Canada Hall of Fame as Builder in 1988.
