Later, the Women’s National Team improved to 2-0 at the event with a 7-0 run-rule win over Venezuela in five innings.

SURREY, B.C. — Team Canada’s National Team opened the 2026 Canada Cup Women’s International Softball Championship in impressive fashion, using a balanced offensive attack and four home runs to defeat Brazil 12-1 in five innings on Tuesday.
