Thanks again to the 885 people who responded to our Strategic Planning Survey and congratulations to our prize winners. We had great representation from across the country and from all areas of the game. Our top 5 respondent roles were: Coach, Umpire, Parent, Player and Local Volunteer. In terms of prioritization of Strategic Plan Items going forward, the survey identified the top three items as: Developing on-line coach and umpire programs, Long Term Player Development Implementation across all jurisdictions and having an average of 8 Provinces/Territories competing at Canadian Championships.

We are currently reviewing all the responses in detail, in preparation for further discussions with our Provincial/Territorial members and an all-day workshop at our Annual Meeting in November. This will be followed by integrating that additional feedback in to the new Strategic Plan and the creation of an accompanying Operational Plan. We will be publishing the new Strategic Plan in March, 2019.
