Mississauga, Ont. – Mizuno Canada and Softball Canada are very pleased to announce a new multi-year partnership that will see Mizuno become the Official On-Field Apparel Supplier to Softball Canada’s Women’s National Team – which includes both the Women’s and Junior Women’s programs.

Mizuno Canada and Softball Canada will work closely together to design top quality uniforms that will showcase Softball Canada’s brand internationally through the 2019 season and beyond. As the Official On-Field Apparel Supplier to Softball Canada’s Women’s National Teams, Mizuno will supply jerseys, pants, socks, belts and a custom warm up hoodie that will be worn for international play. The agreement also includes a retail component that will allow fans an opportunity to support the Women’s National Teams program.

Canada is currently ranked 3rd in the WBSC Women’s Softball World Rankings. The 2019 season will see them compete at the Canada Cup International Softball Championship (July 8-14 in Surrey, B.C.), the Pan American Games (August 4-10 in Lima, Peru) and the WBSC Americas Softball Qualifier (August 25 to September 1 in Surrey, B.C.), where the top two teams will qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
The Canadian Junior Women’s National Team will also be competing at the Canada Cup International Softball Championship (July 8-14 in Surrey, B.C.), the WBSC Junior Women’s Softball World Cup (August 11-17 in Irvine, Calif.) and the WBSC Americas Qualifier (October 10-20 in Barranquilla, Colombia).
