Softball Canada Announces 2023 U18 Men’s Pan American Championship Roster

Ottawa, Ont.  Softball Canada is pleased to announce the list of athletes have been named to the Canadian U18 Men’s National Team that will compete in the 2023 WBSC Americas Pan American Championship from September 3-9 in Sincelejo, Colombia.
 
The athletes have been selected by head coach Mark Quinn (Mermaid, P.E.I.) and assistant coach Jean-Yves Doucet (St-Leonard-d’Aston, Que.) following a selection process that included regional identification camps held in 2022 and scouting at major tournaments over the last two years, including the recently completed U20 Men’s Canadian Championship.
 
“The coaching staff is extremely excited with the talented group of athletes selected for our U18 Men’s National Team and we look forward to competing at the WBSC Americas Pan American Championship in Sincelejo, Colombia”, stated Head Coach Mark Quinn.
 
The Pan American Championship will feature a total of six teams – Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Peru, the United States and Venezuela – with the top four earning a spot at the 2023 WBSC U18 Men’s Softball World Cup November 11-19 in Hermosillo, Mexico.
