“As Chairperson of the 2019 Women’s Canadian Fastpitch Championship, I am honored to lead an experienced host committee as we welcome the top Canadian female fastpitch players to our beautiful province,” stated Phillips. “A sporting event of this magnitude and tradition provides great opportunity to grow the sport within our region, and as a host committee we commit to seeking out those opportunities and we are extremely excited to play host to an entertaining and competitive week of fastpitch.”
