Ottawa, Ont. – Softball Canada is pleased to confirm that Frankie Billingsley (ON) has been re-appointed as National Director of Umpires for a three-year term, continuing her leadership of the national umpiring program.
Following a national call for applications, Softball Canada is also pleased to announce the new and returning members of the Officiating Development Committee (ODC) for 2026.

- Geneviève Gaudreau (QC)
- Don Farr (NWT)
- Scott McLaren (BC)
Brent Chadwick and Tonya Ribalkin-Zanon have both agreed to continue serving for an additional two-year term. Geneviève Gaudreau will serve a three-year term, while Clinton Harvey joins the committee for a one-year term. In addition, Don Farr and Scott McLaren will continue to serve the remainder of their current two-year terms.

Newly appointed member Clinton Harvey brings nearly three decades of umpiring experience to the ODC. He has officiated at nine Canadian Championships and served as a supervisor at five. Clinton also spent 17 years on the Softball Nova Scotia umpire executive, including five years as Provincial Umpire-in-Chief from 2010 to 2015. Professionally, Clinton is an elementary school principal, contributing valuable leadership and educational expertise to the committee.
