On behalf of our Host Committee, The NB Softball Development Group, we want to extend our sincere welcome to all the athletes, coaches, umpires, families and fans to the 2019 Softball Canada Slo-pitch Championships in our great city, Moncton, New Brunswick.

Our committee looks forward to hosting a record number of teams as this will be the first time, we have hosted this Championship in 25 years! Our host facility, the Hal Betts softball complex is uniquely located in our downtown core, close to many pubs, restaurants, hotels and entertainment, all within walking distance. Moncton has a vibrant slo-pitch community with over 100 teams in the local slo-pitch league at all levels.

As part of our renowned east coast hospitality, our committee has live entertainment lined up every night of the championship. Our hospitality tent will be right by our show diamond which is field 5. For those of you looking to extend your vacation or have things for your family to do, the city has many attractions in the city and nearby. This includes Magic Mountain water park, Magnetic Hill zoo, Sky zone, and largest single level mall in Atlantic Canada, Champlain place. For those looking for more adventure with a 30-minute drive you have the warmest saltwater beaches north of the Carolinas with Parlee beach and L’aboiteau Park and the World-famous Rocks which have the highest single day tides in the world.

Moncton is a dynamic bilingual city with lots to do. Our committee is excited to host you all and showcase the highest-level slo-pitch players in the country.
