Ottawa, Ont. – Softball Canada is thrilled to announce Lisa Parkes (B.C.) has been elected to its Board of Directors.
Lisa Parkes brings over 25 years of legal expertise and extensive governance experience to the Softball Canada Board of Directors, including leadership roles with Softball BC, local softball associations, and multiple community sports organizations. Her long-standing commitment to softball as a provincial leader, coach, coordinator, and volunteer positions her as a deeply knowledgeable and dedicated addition to the national board.
Additionally, Vanessa Kosteroski (Sask.) and Larissa Franklin (B.C.) were re-elected to the board. They join current members Robb Andison (Y.T.), Brooks Penrod (Sask.), Bob Stanton (N.B.), Kareena Zanolli (Alta.), Neil Teague (Ont.), and Softball Canada President Scott Neiles (Man.).
This nine-member Board of Directors follows Softball Canada’s bylaws and ongoing commitment to excellence, innovation, and inclusivity in guiding the future of the sport across the country.
Long time Board member, Jackie Dugger (B.C.) decided not to run for reelection, and Softball Canada is profoundly grateful for her many years of unwavering commitment and service. Her leadership, passion, and countless contributions have strengthened our organization and enriched the game for athletes, coaches, and volunteers across the country.
