Ottawa, Ont. – Softball Canada is pleased to announce the list of twenty-eight (28) athletes who will attend the U18 Men’s National Team selection camp August 11-12 in Napanee, Ont. The athletes were selected by the U18 Men’s National Team coaching staff consisting of head coach Bryan Brooks (Napanee, Ont.) and assistant coaches Jean-Yves Doucet (St.-Léonard d’Aston, Que.) and Don Scott (Stratford, Ont.) following a series of regional identification camps held across the country in 2025 and scouting at the 2025 and 2026 Canadian Championships.
 
The Selection Camp will take place at the Napanee Fairgrounds, with Red vs. Black games scheduled for 5:00pm and 7:00pm both nights. Following the Selection Camp, the coaching staff will finalize their roster for the 2027 WBSC U18 Men’s Softball World Cup, which is expected to be held in Czechia in June.
 
Team Canada qualified for the World Cup with a bronze medal performance at the 2025 WBSC Americas U18 Men’s Pan American Championship that took place in Bahia Blanca, Argentina last October.
