Mississauga, Ont. – Mizuno Canada and Softball Canada are happy to announce a multi-year extension to their partnership that will see Mizuno continue to be the Official On-Field Apparel Supplier to Softball Canada’s Women’s and U18 Women’s National Team programs.

Mizuno Canada and Softball Canada have a long-standing relationship that dates to the early 2000s. Under the terms of the new extended agreement, both parties will continue to work closely together to design top quality uniforms that will showcase Softball Canada’s brand internationally. As the Official On-Field Apparel Supplier to Softball Canada’s Women’s National Teams, Mizuno will supply jerseys, pants, socks, belts, and other on-field apparel that will be worn for international play. The agreement also includes a retail component that will allow fans an opportunity to support the Women’s National Teams program.

Canada is currently ranked 3rd in the WBSC Women’s Softball World Rankings and is coming off winning a historic bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Summer Games. The 2022 season will see them compete at the Canada Cup in Surrey, B.C. (June 20-26), the World Games in Birmingham, Alabama (July 9-13) and the WBSC Americas Pan American Championship (dates and location to be determined) in 2022. Open identification camps are expected to be held in British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Ontario in May/June, 2022, followed by a final selection camp in June.
The next U18 Women’s National Team cycle will begin with Continental qualifiers to be held in 2023, followed by the U18 Women’s Softball World Cup Group Stage in 2024 and the Finals in 2025 as the sport transitions to a new competition format.
