Santo Domingo, D.R. – The Canadian Men’s National Softball Team is set to compete at the X Pan American Men’s Softball Championship in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from September 15-24. Team Canada will start the event with a game against Costa Rica at 8:30pm EDT on Friday, September 15.
The event will feature a total of sixteen teams from the WBSC Americas region, divided into two sections of eight teams. Canada’s section includes the Argentina, Bahamas, Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico and Panama.
This event will serve as a qualifier for the 2019 Pan American Games in Peru, with the Top 5 teams earning berths to the event.
