2024 WOMEN'S NATIONAL TEAM
IDENTIFICATION CAMPS

Softball Canada will be hosting 2 identification camps as the next step in the selection process for the Canada Cup (Surrey, B.C.), the WBSC World Cup (Italy). The camps are open to athletes born in 2006 or earlier. Players who were born in 2007 or later who would like to try out of the Senior Women’s Team can contact Head Coach Kaleigh Rafter (krafter@softball.ca).

By no later than June 10, 2024, selected athletes will be invited to participate in the Final Selection Camp as the final step to this process. By no later than June 17, 2024, the final roster for the 2024 World Cup team will be named. Any athletes in the pool are eligible to be named to the roster for any events in 2024.
The registration fee is $150 per player to attend an Identification Camp. A Rawlings National Team camp shirt will be provided.

Attendance to any ONE of the identification camps is strongly recommended in order to be considered. During the camp, athletes will participate in activities that involve both softball skill work and live game play.
Refunds will be provided up to the close of registration (One week prior to camp) and subject to a $50 administration fee. 24 hours prior to the start of cmap, refunds will not be issued other than in extraordinary circumstances, and with medical documentation.
A final selection camp will be held from June 11-16 in ON. Softball Canada will cover the cost of flights, meals, accommodations, and ground transportation during the final selection camp. The final Team Canada roster of 16 athletes will compete at the 2024 WBSC World Cup Qualifier in Italy and the Canada Cup in Surrey, BC.
All camps are subject to postponement or cancellation at Softball Canada’s discretion.
