The Host Committee for the 2026 Canadian Championships is led by an exceptional group of experienced and passionate contributors to the sport. Serving as Convener is Grant Garrett, a proud member of the Softball Canada Hall of Fame, whose distinguished career as both a player and coach with the Canadians has left a lasting impact on the game. Grant’s dedication to giving back to the sport is evident in his leadership of this event, bringing both expertise and a deep sense of pride to the role.
Supporting Grant on the Host Committee are Tim Hawkins, Tom Schneider, and Greg Biles—each bringing valuable experience, commitment, and a shared passion for delivering a first-class championship experience.
The hosting group, Regee’s Rams, is a Men’s 50 Championship team that competes at the highest level across North America, representing excellence on the international stage. Their competitive pedigree and commitment to the sport position them as ideal ambassadors for this prestigious event.
In partnership with the Play Slo-Pitch organization and the City of Niagara Falls, the Host Committee is dedicated to delivering a championship that not only showcases elite competition but also provides an outstanding and memorable experience for all participants.
