Section C - Equipment and Safety Requirements

1. The ball shall be eleven and three quarter inches and marked with the “official softball” on the cover. A red stitch, restricted flight ball will be used at National Games.

2. Helmets must be worn by batters and base runners.

3. A catcher is required to wear a face mask, helmet and throat protector. Leg pads are optional.
