ANTI-DOPING POLICY

  1. Softball Canada has adopted the Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP) as its primary domestic anti-doping policy. Administered on behalf of Softball Canada by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES), the CADP is fully compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code, International Standards and Guidelines as they may exist from time to time.   2. In addition, Softball Canada, as a member federation of the World Baseball Softball Confederation – Softball Division, must also be fully compliant with the WBSC anti-doping rules. The WBSC anti-doping rules may apply to certain members of Softball Canada in certain situations. The WBSC anti-doping rules are fully compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code, International Standards and Guidelines as they may exist from time to time.   3. In the event of a conflict between other anti-doping policies established by Softball Canada and the CADP and/or the WBSC anti-doping rules, the rules of the CADP or the WBSC shall prevail, as applicable.
