Tyler Pauli is the youngest member of Team Canada, earning a spot on the roster following an outstanding 2018 season. Pauli was a member of the 2014 Junior Men's National Team and competed at the WBSC Junior Men's World Championship in Whitehorse, leading Canada with a .457 average and hitting two home runs and seven runs batted in.

In 2015, Pauli won a Gold medal at the U21 Men's Canadian Championship with the Stratford Cubs and also played for the Kitchener Cubs at the Men's Canadian Championship, earning a bronze medal. In 2018, he won another Gold medal at the U23 Men's Canadian Championship as a member of the Owen Sound Selects and was named Top Batter and to the tournament All-Star team, and once again competed at the Men's Canadian Championship earning a Bronze medal with the Elmira Expos. 

Tyler believes in “being the best teammate you can be” and his goal at the national team level is to bring home gold at the highest levels of international competition. He spends a lot of his time completing school assignments but in his spare time he likes to play other sports such as hockey and golf.
