Erika Polidori is a native of Brantford, Ontario where she grew up playing for the Brantford Bobcats, winning multiple gold medals at the Canadian Championships with the team. Polidori joined the Junior Women’s National Team in 2010 when she competed in the Futures Division of the Canada Cup, the WBSC Americas Pan American Championship and went on to represent Canada at the 2011 WBSC Junior Women’s World Championship. She made the Women's National Team in 2013, competing in the World Cup of Softball and the WBSC Americas Pan American Championship. In 2014, Polidori competed in her first WBSC Women’s Softball World Championship and she was also part of the National Team at the 2016 and 2018 Worlds, helping Canada take home bronze at both events.
In 2015, Polidori led Team Canada with a batting average of .455 at the Pan American Games in Toronto, contributing to the team's Gold medal win over the United States and she was a member of the Canadian team that won Silver at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima. Polidori also competed in the 2019 WBSC Americas Qualifier, hitting .375 with 3 doubles and driving in 4 runs as Canada qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
At the collegiate level, Polidori played four years at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She finished her collegiate career at Oakland in the top-three of most offensive categories for the Golden Grizzlies, including batting average (.337), slugging percentage (.545), on-base percentage (.419), doubles (36) and home runs (17). While at Oakland, Polidori completed her degree in Nursing and is currently working as a nurse in Mississauga, Ontario. She has also been a member of the WBSC Athletes Commission since 2018.
