Q&A

What Minor Softball Association did you grow up playing in? Fraser Valley Fusion 97
What’s your favourite food? Peanut Butter
What’s your favourite book? Hunger Games series
What’s the best movie you’ve ever watched? Pitch Perfect
What’s your pre-game ritual? I am not very superstitious, but I try to keep it loose and have fun before the game. I like to play hacky sack with my teammates (even though I’m not very good). I also like to stand in for the pitchers who are warming up, to prepare me for my at-bats, and help the pitchers get locked in for the game.
What’s your favourite place that softball has taken you, and why? My favourite place that softball has taken me is Oklahoma City for the World Junior Championships in 2015. That was the first time I had the opportunity to wear the maple leaf across my chest, a feeling I will never forget.
What are your future aspirations? Post-softball, I aspire to be a high school physical education teacher. Through coaching, I want to give back to the softball community that has made such a positive impact on my life.
If you could spend an hour with anyone in the world, living or dead, who would it be? Tom Brady.
