Softball Canada is proud to launch the A Game for Everyone: B5 Kit Application, a DEI initiative that will provide 25 B5 kits to equity-seeking groups across Canada. Selected organizations will receive a B5 kit designed to introduce softball in an exciting, inclusive, and accessible way.

Who Can Apply?

Organizations or community groups that work with or represent equity-seeking groups, individuals with limited access, and newcomers to softball.

This could include:

• Summer Camp Programs
• After School Programs
• Community Centres
• Organizations/Communities with no or little softball programming 

What is B5, and What is Included?

B5 is a fast-paced, dynamic version of the classic game of softball. It follows the same founding principles of its parent discipline but can be played everywhere and requires only a rubber ball. Chosen applicants will receive a B5 kit that includes 10 rubber balls, a set of bases, a drawstring bag, and a game manual in either French or English.
