Softball Canada Names Three Level V Officials

Ottawa, Ont. – Softball Canada is pleased to announce that three umpires have received their Level V certification in 2018. Level V is the highest level in the National Officials Certification Program and was earned as a result of outstanding performance at the 2018 Canadian Championships.

The new Level V Fast Pitch umpires are:

The new Level V Slo-Pitch umpire is:

“Softball Canada prides itself on producing world class officials, and we are proud that these umpires will now be identified as among the best we have to offer.” notes National Director of Umpires Jeff Whipple. “Softball Canada umpires are in demand around the world and we look forward to having them represent our program both domestically and internationally.”
 
With Level V certification, these officials are now eligible to attend a WBSC certification seminar to qualify for international certification, allowing them to work World Championships, the Olympic Games and other international competitions.
