Softball Canada is saddened to learn of the passing of Dennis "Dee" Murphy - one of the founding members of Softballl Canada - on September 6th.
Murphy was the founding president of Softball Newfoundland and Labrador and was the catalyst of the creation of Softball Canada in 1965 by joining the Western Major Softball Association. He was the fourth vice-president of the very first Softball Canada executive. Murphy was inducted to the Softball Canada Hall of Fame as a Life Member.
